AGRICULTURE IN ACTION!

Our High School Agriculture students recently took their learning outside the classroom and into the field at Scott Farms in Lucama, NC!

Students got an up-close look at the incredible journey of a sweet potato—from **harvesting in the field to processing, packaging, and shipping to markets around the world.

A special thank you to Linwood Scott III for welcoming our students and sharing his knowledge as they explored the harvesting process, curing and storage, and the technology and teamwork behind modern agriculture.

Experiences like this help our students see firsthand that agriculture is so much more than farming—it’s science, technology, business, teamwork, and hard work all working together!

We are thankful for opportunities that allow our students to LEARN, EXPERIENCE, and GROW!

Way to represent, Chargers!
